Product Description
Who is it for?
When a female customer asks for a women's touring ski that's nimble and quick turning but flouirshes in deep powder, all whilst keeping the costs down. The women's Atomic Backland 107 touring ski is what we think off. We use this in our rental fleet paired with an Atomic shift alpine touring binding for a verstile, realiable to relase ski for women. The 107mm waist will keep you on top of the snow however deep the powder is and a 15m turn radius means you'll be dancing around the old growth trees with delight. A truely enjoyable ski to ski.
About the Ski
Atomic use clever design in the tip and tail called HRZN tech, this increases surface area by 15% on the ski - why is this importannt? It's a sneaky way to gain more float without making the ski wider and therefore heavier. For an all-mountain ski, 1380g at 180cm is impressive - Atomic use a combination of poplar and beech wood to mainatin stiffness and low weight. What this means for you is a solid underfoot feeling when skiing downhill even during hard conditions but on the uphill you are not going to pay too much of a price.
