Product Description
Who is it for?
This is the boot for someone who owns one set of skis with a Salomon/Armada/Atomic Shift, ski's resort most of the time but wants to dip their toe into the backcountry. This touring boot does not have a pin connection in the heel so cannot be used with traditional tech bindings but can be used with ISO 9523. So if you have a shift touring binding and want to keep costs down on a touring boot. This is for you. It's also the "Prime" version so is a slighty wider fit out of the box to fit most average sized feet. The boot is also 100 flex so suits a lighter weight or less aggressive skier.
About the Boot
This boots shining feature is the 3D custom shell and liner. What this means is you place the liner & the shell in the oven to bake and soften off, then put them on your feet, this allows your feet boney proturtions to push the liner and shell where it needs to go to create pockets of space. You can get up to 6mm extra space (thats a lot!!) You'd be hard pressed to find someone who can't make this work for them.
